Attorney Profile- Erika Inocencio

Erika J. Inocencio was born in New York City and raised in Northern New Jersey. She attended Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung, NJ and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Boston University in 1995. Erika attended New England School of Law in Boston, MA where she earned a Juris Doctor Degree. Erika is a member of the New York Bar, the New Jersey, and the Massachusetts Bar.

After law school Erika joined the Bronx District Attorney's Office as an Assistant District Attorney where she honed her skills as a criminal trial lawyer. Later Erika worked as a Senior Analyst at AIG Insurance Company on Wall Street before starting her own practice in New York. As a solo practitioner she specialized in criminal defense, civil litigation, residential and commercial real estate, family law, and wills and estates. She has also worked as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office specializing in crimes of domestic violence.

Erika has volunteered her time as mentor to inner city youth in New York through a program called Legal Outreach, which is a college prep organization that uses the law as a tool to inspire and prepare urban youth to succeed in high school, college and beyond.
